"Arrivederci" (arrividerci)

Undoubtedly this has been done before, but that doesn’t mean we can’t do it again! Because I don’t have a million hours to actually document all the cars from the franchise and rank them, here is the Top 20:
Honorable Mention:
Subaru BRZ - Fast and Furious 6.
Had to include it because I own one. Brief exposure in Fast and Furious 6, looks like it’ll get more love in Fast 8.
And without further ado, onto the Top 20:
20. 1999 Ford F-150 Lightning - The Fast and the Furious
Simple but awesome rig that Brian gets to drive while he’s slingin’ parts for Harry. He also uses it doing his covert undercover cop operations. Nothing says stealth like a bright red supercharged pickup.
19. 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT - Furious 7
I don’t much like the overweight Challenger, but this one looked the business. Also saved Brian’s life with Letty behind the wheel.
18. 1970 Dodge Challenger - 2 Fast 2 Furious
One of the “villain” cars from 2F2F. American Muscle doesn’t have any problem dispatching that horrific Eclipse convertible they stuck Tyrese in.
17. 1969 Yenko Camaro - 2 Fast 2 Furious
The other “villain” car from 2F2F. It would’ve hung on to knock Brian’s Evo off if he hadn’t cheated and played chicken with a car that didn’t even belong to him.
16. 1987 Buick Grand National - Fast and Furious
Dom pilots this beast like a boss as he and Letty knock off a fuel rig in Mexico.
15. 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona - Fast and Furious 6
This resto-modded Charger Daytona looked the business. Dom was also able to knock Letty off in her Jensen, a crucial step to helping her remember who she was.
14. 1970 Plymouth Road Runner - Furious 7
Letty cruises around in this, snagging a win at Race Wars before punching Hector in the mouth for not appreciating her personal space.
13. 2009 WRX STi GH - Fast and Furious
The “10 second car” Dom gives Brian after Dom torches his Skyline. It’s a tough little bugger as it manages to take Braga out of Mexico, keeping both him and Brian alive after being smashed by a full-frame Ford.
12. 1970 Ford Escort Mk1 RS1600 - Fast and Furious 6
This kickass little car was able to outrun a tank. I mean, damn.
11. 2002 Nissan Skyline GT-R - Fast and Furious
To me, this was the nicest modern Skyline in the series. Not overdone, just perfect. So perfect, that
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
.
10. 1972 DeTomaso Pantera GTS - Fast and Furious
This kickass car needed more screentime in the series, instead of just being something that had little more than a cameo.
9. Dom’s RX7 - The Fast and the Furious
I didn’t much like the overdone early cars, but this one somehow worked. I didn’t care that one of the taillight bulbs was burnt out, it just added to the reality of it all. Right? Just like double-clutching.
8. 1971 Nissan Skyline GT-R - Fast Five
How Brian would’ve gotten his hands on one of these when apparently out of money and on the run in Brazil, I have no idea. But maybe he’s such a car guy that he decided he and his girlfriend/wife, Mia would go without so he could have a badass car. That’s what I choose to believe anyway. My wife doesn’t agree nearly as much, which is why I still don’t have a Cayman GT4.
7. 1995 Supra Turbo - Furious 7
This one is probably more sentimental than anything. First, it’s a Supra that hasn’t been ruined, but it’s also white and heads up a hill into the setting sun while “See You Again” is hitting its emotional climax. I get misty everytime.
6. 1970 Dodge Charger R/T - The Fast and the Furious
The Charger from the original. This thing was so mean, even Dom was afraid of it. Too bad that damn semi pulled out in front of him.
5. Lykan Hypersport - Furious 7
Insanely expensive hypercar crashing through a building? Insanely expensive hypercar crashing through a building. (I know it was a replica, but still).
4. 1997 Veilside RX7 - Tokyo Drift
Besides a RX7 with an actual kickass bodykit, it was the hero car of who I think was the best character in the entire series. He was so cool that they altered the timeline of the films so he could appear in others. True story.
3. Jensen Interceptor - Fast and Furious 6
Another car that didn’t have a big enough role, this was a kickass resto-modded Interceptor. Clarkson said it best when he said it has the best name of any car ever.
2. Flip Car - Fast and Furious 6
This thing seems to defy physics. I want to just drive one around for one day. Someone driving slowly in the left lane? Flip. Someone turns in front of me? Flip. Someone flips me off? Flip.
1. 1973 Camaro RS Z28 F-Bomb - Fast and Furious
At long last, numero uno. Gotta be the F-Bomb.
How’d I do? I’m sure I left out some favorites, but what do you think?

I find your top 20 acceptable. I’d juggle their place in the list a little, but what made the list is pretty spot on.
opening scene of movie #1 is that garbage green thing. so glad it burns

I was sooooo close to including that 996 GT3. I wish they had included the race scene where they win it off that guy.

not a bad list, but this would make a great bracket match....... especially if you included some of the other not so well followed cars, like the gran torino, or the mid 60s corvette that they drop out of the train. or even the trucks from the other movie.........

What about Phenix’s 1972 Gran Torino?
This thing got some big scenes in the franchise. Showing up in 2 movies after it was in the one it stared in?

Not the way I would have ordered the cars, but definitely a very good list. I’ll leave this honorable mention here as well...
...primarily because of the “built not bought” mentality behind it.

Also very worthy - I probably should’ve included it over one of the two muscle cars from 2F2F.

I can’t help but wonder if the Flip Car was really a 100% original idea or if someone saw Gone in 60 Seconds 2 and was inspired by the Slicer
